Legal Disclaimer – Farrier Services

At Forge & Farrier, we’re a team of traveling craftsmen, working with our hands and carrying on old traditions—from knife-making and martial arts to farriery—all from a mobile forge. We take pride in what we do, but when it comes to farrier work, it’s important to set things straight about where and how we operate.

Legal Compliance & Certification

We shoe horses where the law allows. While we are fully trained and have been practicing for over 20 years, some countries have specific regulations for farriers. Since we travel to many regions around the world, our credentials may not always be recognized locally. In those cases, we assist licensed farriers and veterinarians while awaiting official approval—ensuring we follow the law every step of the way.

Liability & Responsibility

We do things by the book and by our conscience—always with the safety of horses and their owners in mind. But it’s up to the client to check the local laws before bringing us in. If the law says we can work, we’ll do the job right. If not, we stick to lending a hand where we're allowed.

A Note to Other Farriers - Respect, Collaboration & Legal Compliance

At Forge & Farrier, we believe in letting our work speak for itself. We’re not in the business of badmouthing other farriers—that’s not how real craftsmen handle things. If we can help, we do. If not, we move on.

We’re not here to undercut anyone either. Truth is, most of what keeps us going comes from knife-making and martial arts seminars, not chasing after shoeing work. We believe in collaboration over competition—there’s plenty of work to go around when folks do right by each other.

Now, about the legal side of things—we stay sharp on compliance. Not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because we’ve seen firsthand how the modern world works. Social media mobs, jealousy and people stirring trouble just for the sake of it—been there, dealt with that. So, we make sure everything’s by the book, no loose ends, no gray areas, we cross our T’s and dot our I’s so there’s no room for funny business.
